As a kid I remember setting in our living room with my Father on a Sunday after church waiting for that wonderful time when the Southern Sportsman would come on channel 3 out of Harrisonburg VA. Watching Frank White fly us along on his Outdoor adventures was just plain awesome to a 11 year old boy who had never seen the world or traveled to far off places to hunt or fish.

Well I hate to say it but the world sure seems smaller now than it once did. I have been blessed to travel to many parts of our great nation since those days. I have had the good fortune to look thru my scope at deer and turkeys in some of the best hunting states we have. And to meet some of the absolute finest people that ever lived. I have been very blessed. But I when I think hunting one place is always foremost in my mind.

The setting is an average sized hunting camp located in a remote corner of Highland county VA. The place, an average hardwoods mountain with an elevation of approximately 3300 ft with average bear, deer, turkey, and squirrel. Add all this up and you get average. But add in the final factor and you get extraordinary. That last little factor, memories. The memories made there will be with me, my entire life.

That’s what our show is about Memories! A handful of us blessed with being born in the Blue Ridge Mountains, who God placed together as friends, instilled a love of everything outdoors in, have combined our resources. We want to share our adventures, and passion with you. Maybe one day our children or maybe even our children’s children will look back to a time of shared outdoor experiences with warm and fond memories. What a Legacy that would be, we don’t feel we could do more good if we were Presidents and Congressmen. It’s who we are its how God made us. Come tag along with us as we make some memories. We’ll see ya on the mountain!

PS

Please remember to take a kid hunting;

Cause a kid in the woods stays out of the hoods!
